About
Autratech is a UK software studio. We build custom web platforms, cloud infrastructure, AI systems and mobile applications for businesses in the UK, EU and US — and we run the search and content work that gets them found. We are a registered UK company, we work under NDA, and every line of code we write transfers to you.
Most of the software we are asked to build exists because something stopped scaling. A spreadsheet became the system of record. A booking process grew three workarounds. An off-the-shelf tool fitted the business when it was half the size. The work is rarely about technology for its own sake — it is about encoding how a business actually operates, well enough that the business can keep changing afterwards.

- AI systems — retrieval over your own data, assistants and document processing, with evaluation before rollout.

- Product design — research, prototypes, design systems and accessibility.
- Content management — bespoke WordPress and headless CMS builds.
We also run ongoing search, content and marketing work as a monthly retainer. The services pages cover each discipline, and the pricing page publishes real numbers rather than asking you to enquire for a bracket.
How we work
- Discovery before quoting. You approve scope before we write a line of code.
- Weekly demos. Working software every week, so nothing surprising arrives at the end.
- You own everything. Repositories, infrastructure and documentation transfer to you on payment. No lock-in.
- No long contracts. Retainers run month to month with 30 days’ notice.
- NDA as standard, usually before the first detailed call.
The reason we work this way is unglamorous: most software disappointment is a scoping failure rather than an engineering one. Agreeing what is being built — in writing, before anyone opens an editor — removes the single largest cause of projects that overrun, and it makes the price we quote the price you pay.
Who we work with
Mostly small and medium UK businesses, alongside clients in the EU and US with overlapping working hours. We have particular depth in travel technology — booking, quoting and agency operations — which is where TravelCRM came from. We also take over work other people started: a stalled build, a departed developer, an agency relationship that ended badly.

Do you work with clients outside the UK?
Yes. Alongside UK clients we deliver for businesses across the EU and US, with overlapping working hours and GDPR-aligned data handling as the default rather than a special request.
Who actually writes the code?
A small senior team. We do not resell work to a third party, and the engineers on your project are the ones you meet during scoping.
What happens to the code when the project ends?
It becomes yours, entirely. Repositories, infrastructure configuration and documentation transfer to your organisation on payment — no vendor lock-in and no licensing you do not control. Everything is built to hand over cleanly if you later bring development in-house.
